To Santa or Not to Santa: A Catholic Reflection on Imagination, Lore, and Faith
The debate over Santa in Catholic homes often misses the point. Growing up non-Catholic, Santa expanded my imagination and helped me believe in things unseen—an early training ground for faith itself. Catholicism is rich with story, symbolism, and lore; Santa can be part of that tapestry. We don’t need either/or. With creativity and intention, Santa can point children toward generosity, wonder, and ultimately, Christ.
